The Belly Blog... Nine Months and counting

Let nothing perturb you, nothing frighten you. All things pass. God does not change. Patience achieves everything.
-- Mother Theresa

Well, the picture tells all. Mini Miller is still nice and cozy in mommy's belly, making no signs of an impending departure. Our two mile hike this afternoon didn't even arouse any notable action (besides lots of kicking and punching).

This morning's sermon was on Patience. Yes, very timely. We also sang my favorite worship song these days... not just because it talks about waiting, but because it echoes my heart prayers for our friends across the world...

Everlasting God (by Chris Tomlin)

Strength will rise as we wait upon the Lord
We will wait upon the Lord
We will wait upon the Lord

Our God, You reign forever
Our hope, our Strong Deliverer
You are the everlasting God
The everlasting God
You do not faint
You won't grow weary

Our God, You reign forever
Our hope, our Strong Deliverer
You are the everlasting God
The everlasting God
You do not faint
You won't grow weary

You're the defender of the weak
You comfort those in need
You lift us up on wings like eagles

Thank you for posting everyday...keep it coming! You know the more I think about it the more surprised I will be if you have a GIRL. I think it's a boy! but, of course, I'm generally totally wrong if I'm completely sure! ha!

Before you know it you'll have a Miller for life - so be patient. It's not much longer until it'll never be just 2 of you again. Even after s/he leaves home s/he will always be on your mind. Enjoy the few hours left of just Mark & Rachel.

Both my babies have arrived 10 days past EDD. I think they like it in there. Your little one will be here before you know it. Plan some fun activities in the next few days...it will make the time go by faster. looking forward to baby Miller's arrival.
