Abe visited our family doctor today for his two week check up. Mommy and daddy are relieved to find out that our little tyke has been growing well. He's now 8 lb and 20 in. He seems to be a good eater, but with nursing, you never know how much the kid is swallowing, and Abe seems to be a superb spitter-upper, so we were wondering how much milk was actually staying down.
The Burkes returned to New Mexico this afternoon, so it will be we Miller 3 until the Miller grandparents come for a visit next week. Abe has been in no want of companionship, as you can see. We've been blessed by the visits of many good friends and family (and by their wonderful cooking, too!) If you are in the area, you are welcome to come on over.

oh...I love the picture of Abe and your dad...too cute. Was grandpa enamored? Call me when you get time...I'm at the office all week.
And I'm definately pro this arranged marriage. I have to admit Conrad has some concerns about Isabelle being a year older than Abe. To quote him, "I don't believe in that." Don't worry tho, we can work around that :)
What a long kid - most likely will be tall as his father! Also, I've noticed that everyone one Rachel's side has variations of the same face. Holy smokes! Will those uber-genes trump the Miller ones? We'll be watching... :)
Now about Isabelle and Abe: Ben Franklin, in an anonymous letter to a younger friend, listed eight reasons for preferring a seasoned older woman to a younger one... ;)
Hi! This is Gina Mummert posting... He is absolutely ADORABLE!!! Yes, tears stung my eyes when I saw the pics! And to hear of how God answered your specific prayers - that makes me cry, too! He is always faithful! Love you guys!
Congratulations! I hope you are all doing well. New baby and a move coming...well, Rachel, you were always brave. Lots of love from Cruces!
