Grandma Martha (BLOG 3)

One of the highlights of mom's trip for all of us was our visit to Rafiea, the mother of one of my Lono friends. Rafiea has been fighting cancer and we have been praying for her daily as we pray for mom. The fact that mom had struggled with cancer, and recovered to the point that she could come to Asia gave Rafiea a tangible hope. Mark told her the story of the woman with the issue of blood, and we had a chance to pray with her. Just yesterday I saw Rafiea, who is recovering from a hysterectomy. She is on the road to recovery and we continue to pray that God gets the glory for His goodness to her.

Recent body scans show that mom's cancer has now stopped growing. Thank you for lifting her up. Our continued prayer is that she will one day be totally cancer free. Our God is good!
