Some Second Week!

Samuel had a busy second week. Let's see... at 4 days old, our whole Lono host family came to visit us... brothers, sisters, spouses, Abe's village cousins. It was a really special time to visit them. They were excited to neat their new "white"(or red) grandson...

We took our first family photo with the four of us... (in the courtyard in front of our house)
And here's Aunt Esther with her nephews... (She's such a wonderful aunt!)
When Samuel was six days old, we packed the car and headed to our biennial branch conference. It was amazing that I felt well enough to attend the meetings from 8 to 5 each day, with little Sam at my side. It was great to visit with colleagues from other parts of the country... and the women even threw a baby shower for Sam and me! The conference was at a local hotel near the beach, so at 8 days, Sam had his first walk on the beach... We are so grateful for God's goodness to us in so many ways, and are thankful for your prayers!

Rachael, I'm inspired to see how active a woman can be with a newborn! May the God bless your growing little family.

Just getting caught up after a couple weeks of complete brain deadness failed to get me to the right page for your blog!

Congratulations, blessings, joy, peace... on your home and family. Sending much love! We need to connect at some point on Skype. So much going on in our lives!
