It hasn't been a good month for blogging. I've had limited computer time, as Mark and I have been sharing a laptop and he's been working at the office (or we've been out in the village or traveling). So sad because there's so much to tell!
The biggest highlight of the month is definitely the quality family time, this last week with grandma and grandpa Miller in Indonesia (and a short reunion with my church friends in Jakarta), and in a few hours' time, with grandma Martha and aunt Esther, arriving from the States for a few weeks.
Turkey day (yes, we can buy them here, and we will probably gather with colleagues for a mini celebration) will happen sometime this week. Esther's bringing the cornbread stuffing. Yum!
It may be a bit of a logistical challenge, as we are still writing chapters in the great refrigerator saga (second used fridge, fourth repair. What's next?). But the THANKS will be offered whatever the spread. (Mark probably wouldn't mind hot noodle soup).
We thought Abe would take his first steps with grandpa Ray and grandma Christie, but he's holding out... (waiting for Christmas)? Lots of practice though in airport lobbies.
I'll write more soon when I can.
