Many of you know that Sam and I took a red eye flight last night back to the U.S. to see my mom, whose liver is failing without some divine intervention (hence the jaundiced skin color). I thought you'd enjoy these snapshots of mom's stunning smile, and special moments she's shared with family. She was in the hospital almost a week, but returned home to the farm on Wednesday so she can undergo an alternative treatment that holds promise for various diseases. Pictured below: grandsons Abe (at White Sands), Sam, daughters LuAnne, Esther, Rachel, and dogs Frauline and Pinto, sister-in-love Mary Ann. And of course, husband Francis. Please keep praying for a miracle!

Thanks for sharing, Rachel. I do love her smile! Love to Martha. I'm so glad you are there.
