Goodbyes

This evening, we said goodbye to Aunt Esther. It's hard to believe her time with us is already over! We had some great times... sisterly chats, laughter with Abe, cooing over Samuel, sharing and reading and praying. Esther's time here was so refreshing in so many ways... so wonderful to have her here as we welcomed Samuel into the world.
Which reminds me of a funny story... the night after she arrived (at the end of July), she dreamed she was sadly getting on the plane returning to the US, without witnessing Samuel's birth. She dreamt she had gotten the dates of her trip wrong and was forced to return while I was still pregnant. Well, Samuel was finally born and now his cheeks are getting chubby. God is good!
Mark is in Bangkok for meetings, so this week mommy's flying solo. We can't wait for daddy to come home Friday night!
