It was an event I had been putting off for months. This mom was just a little too attached to her son's golden curls. (He follows after his dad... I'll always be grateful for the Millers and their good heads of hair). He had that California surfer dude look. But lately, his front bangs have been getting flatter, making his do much more reminiscent of the long tail bushes so popular on males in the 80's. Abe obviously thought his daddy could use a bit of clipping too...
We have a friend from church in the town near our village area who cuts hair. So the boys took a trip together to Ibu Sheny's "Daisy Salon". Here's the before picture:
Abe started out the event as an enthusiastic participant but the novelty quickly wore off... And the After: Here's my Miller men minus their locks. Grandma Christie warned that we would wonder where our baby went when we cut his hair. And it's true, the short hair definitely makes Abe look like a boy
Here Mr. Grown Up is in his village attire... in his favorite part of the house, in front of the clear and clean family fish tank.
