Settlin'

I don't have any new photos to post... so we'll let the goodbyes last. This was our cell group in the city and their goodbye evening for us. What special people!

We're starting to feel more at home now, Abe seems to be less surprised at the new sounds around him... roosters crowing, dog and cat fights outside his window, and the fascinating (and oh so captivating) whirl of the ceiling fans above. He is just recovering from his first baby illness-- some kind of flu that came with a fever, a general miserableness, and other complications (the kind that require frequent costume changes). He's back to his smiley busy self today. Amazing how much we missed his smile after just two days! Thanks to all of you who were praying for him.

We're still working on getting internet at the house, so our updates will be sporadic. Thankfully our phone is working, which gave us the wonderful opportunity to talk to the Burke extended family who had gathered to visit my mom in Las Cruces. Thank God for Alexander Graham Bell!
